Currently the only club in New Mexico, we serve women and girls in the state of New Mexico and in the El Paso, Texas, area just south of the New Mexico border
Soroptimists' Dream It, Be It program can help girls plan their future. Career Support for Girls provides professional role models, career education and the resources to live their dreams.
Students will learn about setting and achieving goals, overcoming obstacles to success, and managing stress; get tips on personal finance and professional etiquette. There will be door prizes, gifts and goody bags. Attendees will become eligible to apply for a $500 scholarship toward education or professional training after high school.

Enjoy El Paso’s railroad history. Climb aboard a real 1904 Steam Locomotive and a 1929 Caboose. A Train Robbery will be staged by Six Guns and Shady Ladies. See model trains, a real boxcar, historical displays, railroad safety presentations, souvenirs for sale, food trucks. Kids activities and every child gets a free train party hat.

In the realm of contemporary ceramics, this Mata Ortiz exhibition invites audiences to witness the evolution of this distinct style that seamlessly blends tradition with modern and contemporary innovation. Showcasing the artistry of over 25 potters, the exhibit spotlights the generous contribution of early Mata Ortiz ceramics and prints by Juan Quezada by Lysbeth Warren Anderson to the NMSU Permanent Art Collection.

The Youth Expo will have expert guest speakers who will educate youth in grades 6-12 on financial literacy: budgeting, investments, credit cards, financial aid, scholarships, college financial preparation do's and don'ts, and more!
