Kandoll talks about how her experience adopting her retired millitary dog Benny led her to create a site that would allow other civilians or military families to adopt other deserving 4-legged veterans. Hear how actions by the HSUS led the USDA to order the largest beef recall ever. Video taken by the animal welfare organization showed workers forcing sick & injured "downer" cows into slaughter pens.
We'll also hear how the recall could lead to future reform in food & meat inspection.
