ACT RADIO: Whale Sanctuary Project

Lori Marino is a neuroscientist, an expert in animal behavior & intelligence, and the founder & executive director of the Kimmela Center for Animal Advocacy.  As a scientist and an animal advocate, she demonstrates the effective use of science to advance advocacy issues.  Her Whale Sanctuary Project is a multidisciplinary effort to provide a seaside sanctuary for former captive marine mammals.  Orcas and other creatures showcased at aquatic theme parks will have a more natural environment to li  ve out their natural lives.
