Host Louie Saenz
Louie Saenz has been in the news broadcasting business for over twenty years. He has been a News Anchor and Reporter for KDBC-TV, KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, NM and KTSM-TV in El Paso. Saenz earned a degree in Journalism from NMSU, and a Masters in Communication from UTEP. He is currently the News & Public Affairs Director for KTEP-FM, and a lecturer in the Communication Department at UTEP.
Co-host Florence Schwein
Florence links senior experiences with a wealth of diverse life ways of a mature audience. She is also the host of Desert Diaries, airing weekdays at 9am on KTEP. During her 25 years in the museum field, she served as the outreach director for the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; director of the Cleveland, Ohio, Police Museum; and director of the Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens at UTEP. Schwein has taught art history at Southeastern University, Washington, D.C.; Montgomery County College, Rockville, Maryland; and George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia. She teaches Art History in the Osher Life-Long Learning Institute (OLLI), and serves on the Heritage Commission to preserve university history at the University of Texas at El Paso.

We have officially changed the title of the program to "El Paso Prime Time." It focuses more on the positive aspects of senior living, and the diverse lifestyles that encompass living in the third age.
This show is called Literary El Paso, and features host Florence Schwein having a spirited conversation with wrieter/editor Marcia Daudistel about her latest literary endeavor, "Literary El Paso," a huge compendium of writers who have captured the spirit of El Paso in prose and more. The book is printed by Texas Christian University Press.
