ACT Radio-Tim Woodward

Approximately 300 dogs and cats were flown by private planes out of a crowded El Paso animal shelter in one of the biggest non-disaster pet rescues in history. On ACT Radio, Greg, Liz, and Tom chat with Tim Woodward, Executive Director of Animal Rescue Corps, about this amazing mission to send companion animals to regions of the country where they’re sure to be adopted quickly. They also discuss the various ways you can help support companion animals in our community as well as Animal Rescue Corps’ other large-scale rescue work to help abused and neglected animals in puppy mills, hoarding cases, and animal fighting rings.
