Website Graphic DesignerArely manages graphic design and website content for KTEP. She also produces Good To Grow and does On-Air work on the Texas Standard and Fresh Air.
Arely is a graduate student at the University of Texas, where she is pursuing a master's degree in communication. She is currently a Teaching Assistant for the Speech and Debate team at UTEP and is the 2023 and 2026 National Champion in Spanish Interpretation and Public Address. Before interning at KTEP during her undergrad, she interned at the UTEP Dean of Students Office.
“My favorite radio show is Audiosyncracy; it helps me ease the Sunday scares, and the music makes me feel like I am in a video game,” says Arely. She loves to listen to Mexican podcasts, Latin pop, and Indie music. She has been part of the KTEP team since 2022, and what she loves about radio is that it is media as storytelling, and every story you listen to is carefully made to make you stop in your tracks and listen.
