Today is the start of early voting for the March primaries. Secretary of State Jane Nelson was in El Paso today. El Paso voters are tasked with choosing a new county attorney this year. At least 17.5-million Latinos are projected to vote in the 2024 November election. Juarez mayor Cruz Perez Cuellar plans to take a 35 day leave of absence to run for re-election.
