The city’s proposed multipurpose performing arts and entertainment center is back on the City Council’s agenda for next Tuesday. City planners are waiting on a decision from the council on where to designate a new location for the project. El Paso Water ratepayers are covering 88 percent of the cost for water and wastewater projects being built at the edges of the city. Federal officials are reportedly open to ending the pause on liquified natural gas exports.
