The Hawai'ian Islands are ground zero for the aquarium trade where reef fish are captured and trafficked for hobbyists’ tanks. At any given moment, 28 million fish are in the aquarium trade pipeline and many die within a year of capture, generating even more demand. On ACT Radio, Liz and Tom talk with writer, producer and director Paula Fouce about her new film,
 The Dark Hobby,
which exposes this ongoing crisis and follows a group of Native Hawaiian Elders, conservationists, and scientists in their fight to ensure the survival of reef wildlife.
