KTEP together with WQXR is pleased to announce a new series of live concert broadcasts from Carnegie Hall, one of the country’s premiere performing arts venues.

Produced by WQXR and Carnegie Hall, Carnegie Hall Live features some of the world’s best performers and ensembles in a wide range of styles, from early music to recitals to orchestral performances.

Highlights of this broadcast season include the Opening Night Gala concert with the San Francisco Symphony and superstar soloists Renée Fleming and Audra McDonald, led by Michael Tilson Thomas.

An all-Berlioz program performed by Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner.

Jordi Savall and Le Concert des Nations in a program of the soundtrack to Tous les matins du monde, featuring the works of Lully, Couperin, Rameau and more.

Pianist Mitsuko Uchida playing and leading works by Mozart with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.

Budapest Festival Orchestra led by Iván Fischer in a unique program of Bartók and traditional Hungarian songs.

Concerts by the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra/Daniel Barenboim; the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra/Daniel Harding; and the Philadelphia Orchestra/Yannick Nézet-Séguin with pianist Beatrice Rana performing Prokofiev’s Third Piano Concerto, one of her signature works.

The series is hosted by WQXR’s Jeff Spurgeon and Clemency Burton-Hill.
