Carol Kline on how to be a socially conscious traveler

After staying home and dealing with the pandemic, many of us are dreaming of the day when we can travel again, as well as where we might go if given the opportunity. And now more than ever, people are prioritizing respectful interactions with local communities and want to limit the effects of their travel on the planet and the animals with whom we share it. On ACT Radio, Liz and Tom talk with Professor Carol Kline about how to be a socially conscious traveler, as well as her work as founder of Fanimal, an organization committed to informing and mobilizing animal lovers to reduce animal suffering.

Fanimal is a socially-minded organization focused on animals. We provide original content on a variety of topics delivered through web-based platforms. Our mission is to inform and mobilize animal lovers (aka fans of animals) so that animal suffering can be reduced.
