Ruby Montana helping companion animals found at the international bridge

Every day, people all over the world make the difficult decision to flee their home countries due to war, hunger, extreme poverty, natural disasters, and more. And many will go to great lengths to bring their companion animal family members with them on their arduous journey. On Animal Concerns of Texas, Liz and Tom talk with Ruby Montana, founder of Bridge Pups Rescue, an organization that rescues and reunites companion animals with their families after being forcibly separated while crossing the border from Ciudad Juárez into El Paso.

If you would like to volunteer or help Bridge Pups Rescue, you can learn more about them on their Facebook Page. You can also donate to the veterinary fund directly atVista Hills Animal Hospital.
