It's no secret that plant-based meat alternatives are on the rise and a wide variety of new and innovative products are being created every year to meet the growing demand. On Animal Concerns of Texas, Liz and Tom talk with Jenny Goldfarb, Founder and CEO of Unreal Deli.
Jenny noticed a gap in the market when it came to sandwich meat and went on a mission to recreate the flavors of the meaty sandwiches she grew up with in New York City, using only plant-based ingredients. Her debut product, Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Corned Beef has become wildly popular and made its way to thousands of U.S. retail and food service locations. She famously won the hearts of America on the television series Shark Tank, scoring a deal with Mark Cuban.
