Commandant Sergeant Major Tammy Everett

In this edition of El Paso Prime time, Richard Dayoub, from Thunderbird Management, is joined in the studio by Commandant Sergeant Major, Tammy Everett to talk about the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence and Sergeant Majors Academy. Based in Fort Bliss, center provides professional military education and training that develops enlisted leaders into holistically fit and disciplined warfighters to lead in multidomain operations. They will also discuss the role of a Sergeant Major, what it takes to be one, the crucial role that a special education has in their success, and being the first woman in Command.

CSM Everette’s military and civilian education include all levels of the NCO Professional Development System and she is a graduate of the resident Sergeants Major Course, Class 63. She is also a graduate of the Keystone Course, Battalion and Brigade Pre-Command Courses, First Sergeants Course, the Master Fitness Trainer Course, and Drill Sergeant School. She holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Science and Mathematics.CSM Everette's awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit (2OLC), the Bronze Star Medal (1OLC), the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and more.
