Flora Fest 2024

utep.edu

Host Louie Saenz welcomes Dr. Kevin Floyd of the Chihuahuan Desert Garden Gardens of the UTEP Campus to discuss this year's upcoming Flora Fest and what plants will be available.

FloraFest is the primary fundraiser for the maintenance and operation of the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens. Many plants will be getting ready to flower, and we there will be lots of great selections to choose from. Shoppers can visit with local Master Gardeners, horticulturists, and other plant experts for advice on how to care for their plants at home. Mostly native and native-adapted (plants that are not native to our region but will grow well here) plants will be sold, many of which are not available at local nurseries or retailers.
