Johanna Barr/Texas A&M AgriLife

On this week’s show, Denise, John, and Jan offer tips on planting trees and perennial and woody shrubs within your garden or landscapes during the Fall season. Fall season is a perfect time to plant your trees, peripheral shrubs, and woody shrubs in your yard and we are here to give you tips to keep them healthy. From selecting trees, watering, and caring, to the benefits of the long-term investment of having them in your garden.

The program hosts many programs for their community, from classroom gardening at schools to community and demonstration gardens. Today, there are over 6,000 Texas Master Gardeners within 112 counties, giving more than 400,000 hours of their time and talent to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
