Creating Ways: The Confluence of Media/Cultura

vivaelpaso.com

Guest host Carlos de la Torre welcomes el Paso Film Commissioner Drew Mayer-Oakes of Visit El Paso to discuss the upcoming October event. Creating Ways: The Confluence of Media/Cultura

The conversation on local short film productions is always bubbling in the borderland. However, local film production leaders try to create more opportunities for storytellers to learn from creatives who are actively working in the industry on a macro scale with events such as the Creating Ways: The Confluence of Media/Cultura conference. The event is free and open to the public. This year's topics include film, podcasting, photography, and social media, as well as how the binational borderland affects the way media is being made.
