Different voices are constantly springing up in the ever-growing garden that is the El Paso film community. Our special guest today belongs to that growing garden of new story-tellers making strides for filmmaking in El Paso.

Guest Host Carlos de la Torre welcomes Ulises Córdova director, cinematographer, and editor, here in El Paso-Las Cruces region. Offering a variety of new short films from his company Lemon Tree Productions.

Carlos M. De la Torre

Carlos M. De La Torre is a Director, Writer, Executive Producer, Co-Founder, and Chairman of Tower Productions, formed in 2016. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2018 with a Double Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media Production and History. Some of the films he's Written and Directed include the award-winning short films, “So, Who Was It This Time?”, "You Know What's Funny" , “The Tram”, and feature film, "Depth of Field".

Sam Cassiano

Sam Cassiano is a native Californian who spent his formative years in the Bay Area. An army brat, his family toured Germany and Japan before settling in El Paso in 1973. Initially a Communications Major at UTEP, a radio internship at KPAS-FM 94, the PASS launched his broadcasting career. He can be heard as the morning news anchor on KTEP during NPR's Morning Edition, and Friday evenings at 10 pm as the host of Friday Night Blues.
