Miguel José Yacamán

Miguel José Yacamán is a professor and department chair at Northern Arizona University. His present interest is to develop the nanoscale equivalent of High Entropy Alloys and to develop new catalysts to produce cleaner fuels. You can learn more about his work by visiting his site ¡MIRA!

Dr. Miguel José Yacamán returns to Science Studio to talk about nano materials with Keith Pannell. After holding several positions in Mexico as a professor and the director of the Nuclear Research Institute he decided to return to research. One of the focus of his research has been the correlation of structure and properties in nanomaterials. He has developed Electron microscope methods to study nanoparticles and 2-D materials.
