Chemistry Professor, Keith Pannell talks to fellow peers in the Biology department at the University of Texas at El Paso; Department Chair Bruce Cushing along with fellow professor Philip Lavretsky about the recent discoveries there have been in the Biology field such as the development and utilization of psychedelics to help with traumatic experiences, new technologies that make the sequencing of matter much easier for research purposes, lightsheet microscopes and also the recently acquired capacity to do genetics on non-model systems.
