‘Local Gone Missing’ author Fiona Barton

On this week’s Book Club we talk to Fiona Barton, author of the thriller, “Local Gone Missing”. Barton’s literary work includes “The Widow,” which was published in 36 countries and made the Sunday Times and New York Times Best Seller lists.

Her new book tells the story of Elise King, a detective who while on medical leave to recuperate from breast cancer, begins an investigation into the disappearance of a man in a seaside town. When strange and mysterious things begin to happen in town, locals and weekenders begin clashing with each other.
