Greg IIes comes to the book club to go over his newest book “Southern Man,” with host Louie Saenz. As he gets personal to share his experiences and his creation with his new edition, he goes in depth with elaborating on how he had to make a great decision of his trilogy, not only it was great but also a struggle to write his book. In this novel, Greg IIes returns to the interesting style and the history that made Natchez Burning trilogy a deep masterpiece that gives a different perspective and travels fifteen years into our current moment where America steers off to the brink of anarchy. Southern Man is a political thriller that brings you into a world of different heroic moments of presidency, characters and life that may also relate to our life in America. Louie Saenz has been in the news broadcasting business for over thirty years. He has been a News Anchor and Reporter for KDBC-TV, KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, NM and KTSM-TV in El Paso. Saenz earned a degree in Journalism from NMSU, and a Masters in Communication from UTEP. He was the News & Public Affairs Director for KTEP-FM, and a lecturer in the Communication Department. He is also the host of Focus on Campus and co-host on El Paso Prime Time.
Xiomara has been working towards being On-Air for KTEP and as well as working towards being a Radio Engineer, she does volunteer work at KTEP.
