SONGMINE is a show for the
pop/alternative music
geek. The show’s mission is to give deserved and more in-depth conversation to “good”
songs. Riding the edge between pop success and “deep cuts,”
SONGMINE digs deeper for less mainstream but very deserving music based on the background and knowledge of the three hosts:
Dr. Roberto Avant-Mier, Andy Rosales, and
Christopher Telles.Sometimes heated but always authentic, discussion dictates the theme of the selections of songs played during each episode.
SONGMINE invites the audience to
dig just a bit deeper to keep up with lively conversation about music, and music matters, as well as to enjoy a
gold mine of special thematic songs.
With all the moms in mind, Robbie, Andy & Chris get silly and sweet while discussing songs that evoke motherhood and our own moms all while mining some gems from the conversation.

SONGMINE welcomes El Paso celebrity entrepreneur, DJ and activist, Marina Monsisvias for a “deep dig” into her wonderful and consequential work throughout El Paso and Texas.
After Andy recounts his triumph at finally attending a 1975 concert in Phoenix, Robbie describes the scene at the recent sold-out Cigarettes Aftersex show at Don Haskins arena as Chris compares what he saw of CAS’ live stream from Austin City Limits Festival from his couch with his dog chillin' next to him.
