Listen: James Blake, Vince Staples Collaborate On The Moody 'Timeless'

"Timeless" first appeared as an icy, synth-powered soul ballad on James Blake's The Colour In Anything, released back in May. In its new incarnation, featuring rapper Vince Staples, the song is moodier, more propulsive and bristling with tension.

This isn't the first time the two artists have worked together. Blake produced two tracks on Staples' just-released EP Prima Donna, and Staples performed a live version of "Timeless" with Blake at the Glastonbury Festival in June.
