What's Your Favorite Pink Floyd Memory?

Pink Floyd in 1967. (L-R: Nick Mason, Rick Wright, Roger Waters and Syd Barrett)

If you love Pink Floyd like Bob Boilen and I do, chances are you've got a story or two to tell about how the band's music has figured into your life. Maybe it's the first time you heard them, or a live show you saw, or an important friendship that formed over their music. Whatever your story is, we want to hear it.

Here's how to tell us: Record a voice memo of yourself telling the story on your phone. Save the file and email it to nprcrowdsource@npr.org. Be sure to put "Pink Floyd" in the subject line.

Pro tip: Try to tell the story extemporaneously — don't read it if at all possible. We'll include some of our favorite stories in our weeklong celebration of Pink Floyd, which starts Monday, Nov. 7.
