We hear a conversation Charles Horak had with actress Tippi Hedren on the stage of the Plaza Theatre on Aug. 10, 2012, during the Plaza Classic Film Festival.  Hedren talks about her early career acting in commercials and how one commercial caught the eye of famed director Alfred Hitchcock which led him to cast her in his now-classic film, "The Birds."  Part 1 of a 2-part interview.  Aired Nov. 10, 2012.
