Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

Greg, Liz, and Tom speak with the Reverend Gary Kowalski, a parish minister and animal activist.  Kowalski's interest in being an activist began when he read about Koko the gorilla's relationship with a kitten.  Kowalksi talks about animals' awareness of death and about the ways some animals like elephants hold death rituals.  He also tackles the age-old question, Do animals have souls?  Kowalski is the author of "The Souls of Animals," and his publications can be purchased at www.kowalskibooks.com.   Aired June 23, 2013.
