Guest host Norma Martinez talks with Maribel Villalva, director of the Centennial Museum on the UTEP campus, about the current exhibits at the museum which commemorate the UTEP Centennial.  The latest rotating exhibit, "Miner Strong," pays tribute to a century of sports at UTEP.  Maribel also talks about the current exhibit "A Century of Transformations" which traces the history of UTEP, including its various name changes and its various incarnations of Paydirt Pete.  The Centennial Museum, which is the official Welcome Center for the Centennial Celebration, also will begin hosting Walking Tours of UTEP's architecture on Saturday afternoons in January.  Call Maribel Villalva for information and reservations: 915-747-6669.  Keep up with the latest events at the museum here: https://www.facebook.com/CentennialMuseumandChihuahuanDesertGardens
