  The research of Dr. Arvind Singhal, the Samuel Shirley & Edna Holt Marston Endowed Professor of Communication at UTEP, the Director of the Social Justice Initiative, and the William J. Clinton Distinguished Fellow at the Clinton School of Public Service.  Arvind's research focuses on using communication methods to improve the health of society and individuals.  He has worked on global polio eradication, and is involved in heightening awareness of women's issues in India via a soap opera.  http://utminers.utep.edu/asinghal/
