Louie talks to UTEP Chihuahuan Desert Gardens curator John White about the upcoming tour of the campus Chihuahuan Desert Gardens on Saturday, August 9, starting at 9AM. It's a guided tour of the complex, explaining the upkeep of the gardens, the various plants, some of which are rare to the area. The tour is in conjunction with the El Paso Museum of Art's "Vanishing Ice" exhibit.
Louie and John also talk about summer plant care, and how to choose native plants wisely.
