Louie introduces the listener to a much-needed program on the campus titled Center for Civic Engagement, and to the director, Azuri Gonzalez, and assistant director Jennifer Rodriguez. Together, they talk about how the center engages UTEP students to work in the community to give necessary help to some 800 nonprofit organizations throughout the year. It's a form of teaching community service to students, as well as applying the curriculum to other social work programs. Information on the center is available at 915-747-7969, through the web at  http://academics.utep.edu/Default.aspx?tabid=61635 , via email cce@utep.edu, on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/UTEPCCE?ref=ts and Twitter https://twitter.com/UTEP_CCE
