Norma Martinez chats with Maribel Villalva about the next set of events revolving around the UTEP Centennial celebration ongoing on campus and around the city. Villalva is the Centennial Museum director and now the new Centennial Committee director. Things to see and do include Opera Bhutan, happening at the Don Haskins Center on Saturday, August 30, new Centennial Museum exhibits, Minerpalooza, September 5-6, and the season opener for the football UTEP Miners September 6th versus the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Sun Bowl Stadium.
