100 @ 100: Jose Miguel Hurtado, Jr.

  The research of Jose Miguel Hurtado, Jr., of the UTEP Department of Geological Sciences.  Hurtado trains NASA astronauts in a field geology program.  The astronauts use the information to help identify what they will observe in orbit.  Hurtado has also tossed his name into the hat for the next class of astronauts.
