100 @ 100: Jon Amastae

  The research of Jon Amastae of the UTEP Department of Languages & Linguistics.  Amastae has been studying the Caribbean region of Nicaragua and their bilingual tradition of Spanish and Creole English.  Amastae has been drawing comparisons between their bilingual tradition and ours on the US/Mexico border.
