  The research of Elsa Villa, Co-Director of the Center for Research in Engineering & Technology Education, and Research Assistant Professor in the UTEP College of Education.   Villa is researching the disparity of Latinas in computer science and engineering and how creating "affinity spaces" could inspire more confidence in women pursuing these careers.
