STATE OF THE ARTS: SOMOS Project

SOMOS is a project of the El Paso Community Foundation that funds mentoring and college scholarships for youth that are victims of violence in Ciudad Juarez.  A special fundraiser to benefit SOMOS takes place on August 15, 2015 at 3:30pm at the Foundation Room in downtown El Paso at 333, North Oregon. El Paso based KHOU News Border Bureau Chief Angela Kocherga, reporter Alfredo Corchado, and Eric Pearson of the El Paso Community Foundation talk about the project.
