Jennifer Merin is the founder and president of the Alliance of Women Film Journalists (AWFJ).  She joins us to talk about the various ways women are represented in film, behind the camera, and as critics.  Not all women like the same kinds of films, and the AWFJ provides a broad scope of views from women film critics across the nation.  The AWFJ's EDA Awards also recognize women in a variety of film roles that aren't necessary represented by Oscar, such as Best Female Action Star and Actress Most in Need of a New Agent!

Learn more about the AWFJ and see the complete list of 2015 EDA Awards nominees at http://awfj.org/.
