JJ AMAWORO WILSON is the author of the novel DAMNIFICADOS, which is set in a building that was inspired by the unfinished skyscraper known as the Tower of David. This tower is home to squatters of various backgrounds and nationalities who create their own communities, schools, bakeries, and even a militia. Blend this with elements of magical realism including mystical wolves, biblical floods, and multilingual ghosts, and you have a debut novel that's impossible to escape.
