THE WEEKEND: Hepatitis B Vaccines

  Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus, Sierra Campus and East Campus have been recognized by the Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) and the Department of State Health Services for achieving one of the highest reported rates in the state for its work to protect newborns from Hepatitis B virus infection.  Joining us on this program are Sandra Olivas and Sonia Lopez, RNs with the Mother-Baby Unit at the Hospitals of Providence.  Over 99% of babies born in the Sierra and East campuses are immunized against Hepatitis B.
