STATE OF THE ARTS: Senior Center Improvisation Workshops

Visual artists Jessica Hankey and Erin Johnson are working with a group of seniors at three local senior centers, offering three-week workshops in improvisation that are being led by applied theater practitioner Gina Sandi-Diaz.  Cinematographer Chris Dapkins is filming the group’s activities to be exhibited as a multimedia video installation at the Stanlee & Gerald Rubin Center for the Visual Arts at UTEP in 2018.
