Though self-breast exams can sometimes give you false positives, mammograms are shows to cut breast cancer deaths by 40%. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we speak with Dr. Sarah Friedewald, Division Chief of Breast and Women's Imaging at Northwestern University, to learn more about the advances in screening technology and the latest findings in breast cancer research.
