THE WEEKEND: Jamie Flores, El Paso Holocaust Museum

How many times have we judged someone solely on their looks, background or social status? We've all done it, and it's something we're not proud of, but an upcoming event is aiming to break those barriers and engage in conversation with your fellow El Pasoans. This week, we visited with Jamie Flores, Programming and Education Director of the El Paso Holocaust Museum, as she shared details with us on their next event Community Encounters: No Ordinary Words. This community event invites participants to share a meal together, while also sharing their own stories, viewpoints, and perspectives, in an effort to build bridges of understanding with one another and to get to know our community in a richer way.
