STATE OF THE ARTS - La Semilla Food Center & Zeke Pena

Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

Driven by a responsibility to integrate past and present stories of land and foodways in the Paso del Norte region and beyond, La Semilla Food Center and Zeke Peña are collaborating on a zine about our national food policy (the Farm Bill).

Set in Vado, NM, the zine breaks down the policy's history and its impact on communities.  It is at once a work of art, history, archival research, and storytelling. They hope it can get folks excited to work on policy changes to the Farm Bill, and on all food policy, from the federal to local levels.Originally Broadcast on June 26, 2021
