Foster is a poet, teacher, and community activist.   The conversation focuses on his book ELADATL:A History of the East LA Dirigible Air Transport Lines

He was born and raised in East Los Angeles. His books include, City Terrace Field Manual (1996), World Ball Notebook (2009), Atomik Aztex, and A History of the East LA Dirigible Air Transport Lines.  He’s the recipient of several awards, including the American Book Award, the Believer Book Award, and the Asian American Literary Award.
