ON FILM: Brooklyn / Trumbo

Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 audio

Two recent movie releases take drastically different looks at America in the 1950s. "Brooklyn" is a beautiful story about an Irish immigrant who comes to America before having to be torn away back to Ireland after a tragedy. "Trumbo" is a biopic of Dalton Trumbo, the Hollywood screenwriter who was blacklisted for his political views.  Frequent guest Jeanne Creel joins host Charles Horak for a discussion on these films, in addition to recommending downloadable TV shows and movies.
