There is a nursing shortage affecting the sun city, but we listen to “the best kept secret in El Paso” and how it’s improving the lives of many. On this week’s edition of El Paso Prime Time, host Richard Dayoub sits down with the Dean, professor and chair of Nursing at Texas Tech University, Dr. Stephanie L. Woods, alongside President & Chief Executive Officer for Project ARRIBA, Roman Ortiz.

Project ARRIBA’s (Advanced Retraining & Redevelopment Initiative in Border Areas) mission is to assist economically disadvantaged individuals in gaining the education and job skills needed for demand occupations that pay a family-sustaining, living wage in El Paso, Texas.
