Visiting journalism professors discuss the Dow Jones Multimedia Training Academy.

Technology has changed the way we listen to music and get our daily information. For the past 12 years, UTEP has hosted the Dow Jones Multimedia Training Academy. College professors from Hispanic-serving Institutions and Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the country are selected to take part in an intense five-day training on digital media production.

Join us as we have a conversation with professor Rick Brunson from the University of Central Florida, professor Jayne Cubbage from Bowie State University, and program trainer Doug Mitchell, director of NPR’s Next Generation Radio Project Manager and USA Today Network diversity reporter to tell us about their experience in the academy.
