Borderland Rainbow Center Talks Social Support and Services

On the first half of this episode of The Weekend, we talk to Brenda Risch and Lorena Soto from Borderland Rainbow Center about the mission of the organization, and what inspires them to work with the local LGBTQ+ community.

On the second half of this episode, Risch and Soto tell us about the health disparities faced by the community, and the services Borderland Rainbow Center offers, including helping senior citizens apply for health benefits, and counseling youth who are being bullied for their identity.
