Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Kirken has received various grants and awards for his cancer research.
Rob, as Keith refers to him, grew up in a farming community in Ortonville, Michigan and credits his mother for his interest in science. He recalls she provided him with chemistry kits when young. He started his education at Olivet College where they had a good chemistry program.
