Watch A Gorgeous New Animated Video For Wilco's 'Sunloathe'

There's a new, fabulously fun video from Wilco, set to the tune "Sunloathe" from the band's latest album, The Whole Love. The animation is based on over 100 drawings by Nathaniel Murphy that were inspired by the song's hopeful and sorrowful lyrics and then animated by a team in Providence, R.I. overseen by director Peter Glantz.

By the way, Nathaniel Murphy is also part of the Wilco stage crew, as Glenn Kotche's drum tech. His work as an illustrator can be seen as part of the art for Wilco's 2007 album Sky Blue Sky. Murphy also created a film for Glenn Kotche's song "Monkey Chant" and is a musician in the synth duo Loft.

In 1988, a determined Bob Boilen started showing up on NPR's doorstep every day, looking for a way to contribute his skills in music and broadcasting to the network. His persistence paid off, and within a few weeks he was hired, on a temporary basis, to work for All Things Considered. Less than a year later, Boilen was directing the show and continued to do so for the next 18 years.
